The White Swan, Twickenham

How much?! We had 2 bottles of Peroni and a small lemonade on Sunday and paid �10.20 for the pleasure!!! Are they having a laugh? �4.50 for a bottle of beer on the pavement? Next time, I will take my own beer to drink on the beach! I am disgusted! A pub run by locals for massive profit!
By way of comparison, a bottle of Peroni at The Royal Oak costs �3.40.

The Albany, Twickenham

This is a really nice pub. High ceilings and big windows make it light and airy so smoke is not such a problem. Good selection of wine and beer, both lager and real ales. The food is great and reasonably priced. I can especially recommend the salads and the Sunday roasts. Staff are polite and friendly. So far, it seems to attract a nice crowd. All in all, a great addition to Twickenham. More of the same please.
