awesome pub, plus one of the barmaids looks like a porn star!! which is nothing more than an innocent curiosity, you understand! food is great, cheap, and they have some great beers generally. love this pub, great find in dodgy surroundings!

The Phoenix Tavern, Faversham

bit wanky, but a quality venue! Proper parochial schmooze fest most of the time that you go there, but they do properly interesting events and evenings. staff always awesome, beer always great (but not as good as shepherd neame)

The Anchor, Faversham

There is one astoundingly rude lady who works here, but only infrequently. I find it friendly enough, but agree that Sundays you can wait up to half an hour for a drink when (pretty poor) live music is playing. Incredible medieval garden is worth a look, though.
