The Hole in the Wall, Colchester

was here last night with friends and was hugely disappointed with the beer for a GBG pub. the ale was very cold and only tasted ok once it reached room temperature. no real real cider either, only strongbow or bulmers.
also only one man behind the bar. he was moody and service was slow.
we left.

The White Hart Inn, Margaretting Tye

a good pub which always has a good choice of real ale kept in superb condition. popped in recently for their winter ale festival, which was excellent. also had had moles black rat cider on, which was a bonus, shame it was for the weekend only.
