The Red Lion, Stodmarsh
Visually, one of the most beatiful and cozy pubs in Kent and the food very nice... except for the instant coffee. The staff however, clearly take pride in being among the rudest in Kent. Our waitress seemed irritated to see us from the start, never smiled. They do not serve chips - and don't insult them by asking for them. It is apparently a taboo in Stodmarsh. She never brought our side dishes and never checked the table such that we could tell her. Also, if you are paying cash, you better bring exact change because they DO NOT have change for large notes.
