The Leather Bottle, Earlsfield

Visited this boozer a while back - like all Young's pubs the prices are fairly extortionate, but the beer is very kept. So I suppose that was just about excusable.

Lovely garden too - probably one of the biggest I've ever seen in London - I bet it must be great in summer!

Food, however, left much to be desired. Very expensive for what was only a slightly above average meal. Also the night I visited was a burger night, with a 2 for 1 offer. However, someone else had the normal burger which was about twice the size of the paltry 2 for 1 burgers! Very misleading in my opinion.

Also I don't know if he's still there, but the enormous chef was very distracting, using absolutely obscene language with no regard to our table. Once he finally decided to lift himself out of his chair and stop playing with his laptop, he prepared food that to be fair was ok - but for the price I'd expect a lot more.

Come on Young's sort out this lovely boozer by getting in some professional staff!
