Atlantic Inn, St Mary's

September 2010 - We had been in for a drink and found it to be a good pub, However on going in for a meal on the first night of our honeymoon we had a totally different experience.
After waiting half an hour after ordering I approached and asked as to the progress of our meal. We were told they were busy and it would soon be along. After a full hour i went round to the kitchen to ask another girl what was going on, only to be told they had lost our order!
I went to the bar and asked for my money back, was given barely an apology, and was still asked to pay for the 2 beers we had bought! The Staff couldn't seem to care less.

I understand it was the end of the season, but this was really crap service. Turns out this happens on a fairly regular basis.

For the first night of our honeymoon, this was a real let down.
