The Notter Bridge Inn, Saltash

A huge disaapointment, certainly won't be visiting again!

Went to the Notter Bridge Inn for lunch yesterday and was very disappointed with both the service and the food. On arrival, we were handed our menus and informed they had no ham, duck or lamb! The starter of breaded mushrooms was dismal - 5 tiny button mushrooms, approximately two mouthfuls! A very limited childrens menu - asked for a smaller portion of the carbonara only to be told that we would still have to pay the adult price! Wish we didn't bother, the carbonara was revolting, full of very salty and fatty bacon, far too much cream in a very runny sauce. The vegetables for the beef cobbler arrived 5 minutes before the beef cobbler and were consequently went cold. The soggy saute potatoes were swimming in oil. The cauliflower was brown. The carrots were bendy. I could go on, but I would be here all evening! Another couple sat in the conservatory walked out after just a couple of mouthfuls of their meal, need I say more?
