The Windmill, Burgess Hill

Monday 8th December 2008. A new beginning for this pub as a very good friend of mine took over the lease.

A young family man he will definitely put this place back on the map. Pop in for a good beer in friendly surroundings, warm welcome guaranteed.

White Hart, Brislington

I went to this pub to watch the last england footy game with some friends. It was the first time i'd been back since the outside had been spruced up.

The beer price was reasonable but clearly nothing had been done on the inside and hardly anyone inside. The footy was shown on a 14 inch tv in the lounge where there was just 3 people an overpowering smell of dirty toilets. Quickly hopped over to the main bar where there was a few lads sitting on the pool table about to watch the game. We joined them and 20 minutes into the match a girl from behind the bar came out with a rottweiler turned the juke box on very loud and danced with it on the dancefloor by grabbing its paws.

The others turned the telly up even louder and i politely asked if she could do that in half an hour at half time. She just shouted at me to go in the lounge bar!

Great to see this pub so empty, if they don't bother cleaning the toilets, treat the few customers it has with no respect i hope everybody goes to the other pubs over the road.

I will not be spending any more time here.
