The Oak Tree, Desborough

A pub that could be good ruined by poor management.
From the outside the pub looks like a proper traditional pub, the sign say good food and fine wines. Sounds tempting, except.....
The food is a wide selection peanuts and crisps, the fine ales reaches as far as John Smiths.
Seems the pub also doubles as a playground for the locals kids. Music far too loud for a near empty pub, (when we visited there were about 10 people and a couple of kids running riot).
Toilets could do with a good clean as could the 'beer garden', (which seems to consist of the remains of a gazebo and about a million cigarette butts.
This pub doesn't seem to know what it is, signs and outsied view are deeply decieving. With a bit of work i feel this pub has potential but without big changes i would not visit again!
