The Ramblers Rest, Chipstead

This pub is known as being the pub to go to in the area, I have no idea why. The most over rated pub I've ever been to, no atmosphere, odd decor and average service.

The White Hart, Chipstead

The continuing story of the White Hart, as tragic at times as a Shakespearean play, full of lovely people doing the best with what they can, can't say the same about the sour-faced and often outrightly rude management. The current face of the white hart is a vast improvement on the last couple of attempts, much better selection of ales and beers in general. The food is certainly better value for money than before and some very tasty dishes, I will definitely frequent this former tacky thai restaurant more often
