The Dog Inn, Ludham
When we visited the Dog recently we could not belive the changes! Considering this pub had been badly run down by the previous landlord, the new ones have done wonders!
There was no sign of ripped seating, it has all been re-upholstered. The old carpet is down still, sure, but considering the amount of money the new owners have put into it, (their own, I'm told) there must be something low on the list of 'to be dones'!
As to the 'Makro' comment, by the last poster, where on Earth does he think the bulk of the goods come from, for heavens sakes? It's all well & good buying fresh goods from local sources, which I believe they were doing, but there are an awful lot of things which can't be bought in large catering-size quantities from the local shop! The food is definitely all home-made, about the only thing that isn't is the scampi, so one of the kitchen staff was telling me.
Well done Lorraine, Geoff and Naomi, this really is a truly family-run pub!
