I am really sad about the state of the Tup lately. I also feel its lost the same safety and friendliness it once had. As a girl i'd feel more than happy to go and wait to meet a friend on my own and now I definitely wouldn't. There are some really intimidating people in there now creating that "old mans pub" environmnent. It was always full of quite young professionals in there which always made me feel safe, and on sundays the quiz night was rammed, and really good fun.

The landlord before organised events weekly - there were posters up in the bathrooms(which REALLY need a lick of paint ..and some bleach) and it always felt buzzing, it really lacks that magic now.
Last time i ate there we got our money back and the time before that the new landlord apologised and swapped our meals (for something equally as bad) not sure i fancy giving it another go. The nachos used to be lovely and they can't even get that right anymore.

People want to feel at home in their local and cosy and among friends, it feels empty, cold and unwelcoming. Maybe Dan could give Andy a ring in Tenerife for some tips on how to win us all back?

A bottle of wine under �16 would be nice for starters.
