The Pumphouse, Liverpool

After reading the reviews below I really didn't want to visit this pub when visiting Liverpool. However friends from Liverpool told me that the pub was great, well known in the area and THE place to go on a sunny day. So I gave it a try. What a pub!!!Lovely old building but decorated very modern and really really busy. Got served within a reasonable time considering the level of trade and the staff were great, typical scousers with the humour. Had a bowl of scouse which was nice. What do people expect? It is not a restaurant it is a pub. Yes loads of tourists but loads of local people as well with families. People, ignore previous posts, give it a try, my friends and I did and loved it.
