The Lion Hotel, Farningham

i am surprised by some of the comments about The Lion especially about the 'booking'as you cannot book a table there.i had a friends birthday there and the staff made it really special i didnt have a cake for them but they made sure that when my friends dessert came out they put candles in it and the manager sang happy birthday.The food is what i call pub grub food but what do you expect when you go to a chain that is run like the harvesters etc its not going to be fancy gourmet food!
when we all left there we had a real good feel factor and we had had such a laugh with the staff that i will definately be back even just for a drink.
