The Hill, Primrose Hill

I had a great meal here earlier in the week with a new lady-friend of mine. I'm always at a bit of a loss as to where to go on a date with a vegetarian, but was recommended to The Hill by a friend of mine.
While there was initially a bit of confusion over an unordered pint of Heineken, but was rectified with little fuss, and our bottle of wine was brought promptly over.
I wanted to order a starter, as there were a few that took my fancy, but didn't, only because my friend didn't want one, and I didn't want to look greedy. However, if we ever return I will force myself to, as the couple on the next table had the oysters which looked a bit special.
I had the steak for my main which i thoroughly enjoyed, even with the red wine jus, which I don't usually appreciate.
My partner had the risotto, which she said was a tad rich, and had to have a little break in between, but ultimately said it was very satisfying.
We then went to the garden for a while to smoke, and digest the food. It was quite pleasant even given the time of year, but I'm sure it would have a lot more appeal during the Summer time.
Overall we had a very nice evening, and the true test is that my lady-friend was impressed enough to see me again since.
