Swan Inn, Manningtree

I visited the Swan for lunch on Mothers Day. I understand it has been under new ownership for about a month and the rooms are being refurbished. The restaurant is now Thai and run by Robert and Jessica and is fabulous! The food was great and very reasonable - I can recommend the mussels in particular! All the staff we came into contact with were courteous and helpful with great enthusiasm for the place. I hadn't been here since the late 80s and have to say I was much happier on this visit! Will definately be going back for food and will probably stay next time if the rooms are ready as I am no longer living in the area. The bar area is comfortable and separate from the restaurant. All in all it was a very good experience and I was suprised it is not better known already!
