Swan Hotel, Radcot

As one of the seven mentioned in the previous review, I'd like to add that the landlord, who was very welcoming, let us stay in the pub well past closing time while we waited for our transport. The jacket potatoes (with brie and bacon) were well cooked, tasty. and well presented.

The White Hart, Witley

11 of us from a walking group had lunch at the White Hart today. The food was excellent - best steak and ale pie I'd had in ages, and delicious vegetables.

The Anchor, Wisley

This pub is now owned by Hall & Woodhouse and is undergoing a �1M restoration. It will be closed until May 2007. I'm hoping for a big improvement on the old Anchor as this pub is a short walk from home for me.
