The Royal Oak, Poynings

Was very tempted by the Sunday barbecue, and the garden certainly makes a good setting. A shame then that the food is only one step above burger bar ambitions: burgers, chicken, lamb sausages all with rather fatty chips and a few lettuce leaves.

At close to a tenner a meal this is hugely over-priced. Great idea, badly executed.
