Old Swan Cheddington, Cheddington

Comfotable lovely looking pub with decent menu and beer on tap. nicest pub in the area, but maybe not the most happening atmosphere. Great for a lunch stop off or evening meal.

The Three Horseshoes, Cheddington

Of the 5 pub visited in the area on one night this was my least favourite, although it was the busiest! The small public bar was a bit smelly, but that could have been the punters rather than the fabric of the building. We ended up sitting outside, (even on a February night) as it was a bit tight for space inside. The Tribute beer was ok and some people looked to be enjoying food tucked in a corner. So if you are looking for a busy village local with plenty of drinkers this is your place.

The Carpenters Arms, Slapton

Decent local for the people of Slapton, had a nice pint of Tribute on a cold February Friday night, the pub was quite busy with a mix of diners and drinkers, young and old. The place was bright and warm and we had some nice comfy chairs away from the food area, the food did smell good!
