Neptunes Hall, Broadstairs

When we visited broadstairs a few days ago there was a very limited selection of SN beers available at Neptune's Hall - Masterbrew or Spitfire. The spitfire (which is normally a very enjoyable ale) had obviously been in cask too long and was not good. The masterbrew was reasonable but was well below the standard expected of a SN pub. The pub was virtually empty (which most likely explains the dreadful beer in terms of lack of turnover) apart from four very youthful drinkers and 3 cronies of the landlord who were sat with him at the bar. Neither the pub nor the landlord were very welcoming in spite of the lack of customers.

This was in sharp contrast to the Wrotham Arms where the beer was excellent and the staff were both friendly and welcoming.

I would not recommend this pub.
