The Snakecatcher, Brockenhurst

I visited this pub twice over the summer holidays. The first time I was told that food stopped at 830., slightly surprised but the food we observed ( my two boys 8+ 10) looked good and appealing. I has a decent pint of ale and then left. Returned the next night and had some really good food and some good cask ale; I think it was Ringwood Best, all well kept.. My 10 yr old son noted that the mural art work depicted the legendary Harry Mills ( the snakecatcher of the New Fotrest) as having croaked in 1905 on the wall but 1902 in the menus and his last dink had changed from ale to rum.

'Whatever' may be the cry but sloppy atention to detail. However, that said the ale was good, the food was excellent and they charged my phone behind the bar.
