The Mermaid, St Albans

With winter approaching, and smokers banished to the car park, there's a real problem at this pub: the bar staff smoke, often work single-handed, and like a ciggie. In consequence, they too retire to the car park, but post the door open so they can see the bar. Result: it's an ice-box.
And the gents toilet is probably the smelliest in St Albans!
