Devonshire Inn, Skipton

A great friendly pub just off the High Street serving good beer and other drinks. Very definitely one of the best pubs in Skipton. The staff are young and very friendly and helpful. Open fires, the usual Wetherspoon's grub and a wide range of beers that's constantly changing. And best of all ten minutes from our front door!

The Albion Inn, Skipton

A great friendly pub just off the High Street serving good beer and the usual range of other drinks. There is a brilliant quiz night on a Wednesday, starting at 9.30. Very definitely one of the best pubs in Skipton. The staff are exceptionally pleasant and friendly. Regular beers are Theakston's bitter, Butcombe bitter and Manchester Pale Ale. There's a guest beer that changes regularly

The Exmouth Arms, Euston

This used to be my favourite pub in central London. Busy, friendly, good beer and once the after work crowd had gone there was the feeling of a genuine local. Sadly it's now been taken over and "improved" Noisy, expensive and full of people who want to be seen to be cool and having a good time. Very tedious and very disappointing. It's still a convenient pub with good beer so I will be going back, but it's far from my favourite now
