Cock Inn, Drayton

I ordered my drinks before ordering the meal. One of the drinks was not what I asked for, I pointed it out but paid anyway. Shortly afterwards I ordered our meals (4 basic main courses .. scampi, cheeseburger and two lasagnes). Would you believe it took forty minutes to microwave these meals. Could the delay have been that I had the audacity to mention I received the wrong drink?

The alarm bells should have rang when I ordered the food and was told I must pay for the meal or give a credit card number before ordering!! That can only be because of dissatisfied customers questioning the bill. A potentially pleasant evening with my sis .. spoiled by ignorance and bad service. Guess who won't be going back to the Cock Inn again. Some basic lessons in civility and a little professionalism are urgently required here.
