The Albert Hotel, Shrewsbury

proper pub you dont see many of those around anymore, wasnt going to go in there it looked shut, but i needed the toilet, walked through the door all eyes were on me, had 2 pints, lot of banter between the landlord and the locals, there was no problem I enjoyed it had a chat with the landlord about the footy he's a big wolves fan. its nice to go to a pub thats still has tradional values

The Barrels, Hereford

Very nice found it by chance, love the bar idea with the barrels underneath to hold it up, wye valley pub had a good selection more than I could drink in the space of 3 hours, friendly locals and a good time I had

Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury

good range of real ales, was not dissapointed, landlord was very helpful telling me all about the beers that were there. could of stayed all day and had the rest of the ales, but had to dash, always another day
