The Prince of Wales, Paddington

Shockingly bad pub. From the outside it looks like a dive and once you get in you're even more dissappointed. Smells funny and the landlady has a massive chip on her shoulder (I witnessed her giving short shrift to a bloke who said his beer was off...he may have been talking out of his bum but she was plain rude in her response). If you took away the DDB (advertising agency) employees there'd be no-one in here.

DDB is a bloody good agency but I wish they wouldn't drink in such a rubbish pub. Plenty better boozers in Paddington.

The Doric Arch, Euston

This is a lovely pub. Even more so the fact it's a railway pub. Great decor, great beers, lovely view of the bus station if you're keeping an eye out for your bus. I missed a few so I could stay longer! I'm a bit weird, I like quirky pubs and this is quirky...in a good way. Recommended.
