The Nags Head, Chichester

On visit from Australia we took a party of 12 relatives for a meal. The pub was very busy at the time. We had to wait for approx 10 mins to be asked for a order. I ordered drinks and a couple of bottles of wine. The drinks arrived in about 15 mins and no glasses for wine. Meals were obtained from the carvery and we asked again for glasses for the wine. Along came some long drinks glasses with the response that wine glasses were not available!
Poor service and when complained we were told what did we expect when the pub was packed!
Not our problem,was it? Not even offered some reduction to the bill. Very poor standard all round, is this typical of Chichester?
