The Drum Inn, Torquay

I visited this pub yesterday having been there in the past. The location is very nice and the staff seem freindly enough. The food was dissapointing though. The starter of pate and toast was ok but the roast beef I had to follow was very overcooked and the roast lamb my friend had was too tough to even bother trying to eat. We decided to have coffee outside afterwards and the barman kindly decided to bring it out for us as none was ready. We got our coffee at the fourth time of asking having been told the coffee meant for us had been "stolen" by someone else???? There was also a barbeque on offer outside but the person cooking this seemed to not know his hygiene requirements as he stood there in his chefs overalls smoking a cigarette. Overall a nice location and building but the food does it no justice, hope it will improve.
