The Plough, Dulwich

Visited this pub on a Sunday and whilst clearly understaffed - I watched and waited with patience as the staff ran around trying to keep everyone happy and satisfied. I found the manager attentive when I explained the problem and as well as not charging me for the meals, he gave me a voucher for my family to return for drinks on him.
We were more than satisfied with this - I can tell a previous reviewer wasnt - I feel people want to much for nothing as opposed to accepting that business experience problems - if an experienced and very large manager felt the need to ask the reviewer to calm down then i would suggest he was being more than a tad aggressive.

A manager who cares about his business, the food was reasonable, the drink range wide and the atmosphere very good - just need to sort out the staffing and technical issues they were having and lose the err something for nothing type people and they'd have an amazing pub.

Dean Park Inn, Bournemouth

Excellent pub. I was welcomed with a friendly greeting by the landlord, Gavin. The rooms where my family and I stayed were well equipped and spotlessly clean.
We had a meal in the evening which was well presented, value for money and served with a smile. Breakfast the following morning was exactly the same, well presented, great value for money and served with a smile. Beer was up to the usual fantastic standard of Wadworths.
I was pleased to see and landlord and his partner, Emma, so eager to please and displaying a fantastic manner of "Nothing is too much trouble"

Certainly a place my family and I will visit again and hopefully not in the too distant future.
