Falmouth Packet Inn, Penzance
Booked Sunday lunch (June 27) by phone the day before and were delighted with whole experience. Both 'unique' Penzance Beers were very good and lime and sodas for the driver were only 50p each. The roast beef lunch was excellent; beef (the new owners have a farm) was some of the best we've tasted in a pub; service was very friendly and welcoming.
We live in 'rip-off' county, plagued with too many poor value gastropubs (Surrey) so were pleased to find such great value and tasty food. We hope the new owners make it a great success, they are on the right track - we hope to be back when we visit Cornwall next year!
