Okay but the place really needs a new lick of paint, a bit dingy. They totally messed up our order and the food was below average.
Won't be coming back again!

The Rose and Crown, Hartlip

Visited the Rose & Crown on Sunday after a family walk. Heard it was under new management so was anxious but I really shouldn't have been. It's a lovely pub, very welcoming, warm, friendly and relaxing. We had a Sunday lunch there and the food was fantastic. They were advertising an a la Carte menu and if Sunday lunch is anything to go by then I would highly recommend the pub for food. Someone mentioned the new manager was a chef so that explains the food. An excellent pub, especially for great value food.
