The Crumplehorn Inn, Polperro

We have just returned from a week in Polperro and have to disagree with the previous reviewer who appears to have praised other pubs for thier food yet claimed the Crumplehorn is a restaurant not a pub. A bit ambiguous I would say. We stayed in Polperro for a week and ate here 5 times. This is for sure a pub, but a pub that serves food better that any restaurant around. The atmosphere is of a pub and you have to order your food at the bar so I am not sure why you think it is a restaurant. There was a choice of 5 real ales and 3 lagers (and other draughts) what restaurant would give you that? The bar staff were excellent and the waiting staff had a laugh with us. I am not someone who writes reviews of places but we saw this website in the Crumplehorn and as they gave us a holiday to remember I thought I should have my say. wonderful place.
