Bell, Bierton

The sign outside said 'Small Pub, Great Food' which suited our needs perfectly. Or so we thought. The pub lacked atmosphere and the toilets were grim. The food looked like a school dinner - served on 60s style crockery. The roast beef with 'all the trimmings' consisted of wafer thin slices of beef, drowned in gravy, with a bit of wilted cabbage and some potatos. No fresh crisp vegetables here. Considering we arrived bang on opening time for lunch, the rather dry and sad looking side salad looked like it had been out all night. Overall - a big disappointment and we won't be going there again.
