Bishop Out Of Residence, Kingston Upon Thames

A pleasent looking pub from the outside, and indeed from the in, based on Kingston's Riverside. I have passed in the evening and thought the low-lighting and acoustic singing looked quite entertaining. So today (a hot summers evening) we decided to pop by in passing for a quick refreshment. The bar was empty and the staff were somewhat reluctant to serve us "i'll be with you in a minute... just carry on looking"... the staff cockily mumbled from the opposite side of the room. Eventually, another member politely came over and took our order, and even made suggestions.

A nice pub. My huge-ist, biggest, most annoying-ist gripe with this pub was the price. A bottle of Crabbies and a bottle of Corona came to �8.50. �8.50?!!! On a Monday afternoon?!? �3.80 for a Corona?!?!?? Nearly �5 for a ginger beer. An absoulte joke. Will NOT be returning, or recommending. Even though the pub is nice, there ARE nicer around and there ARE cheaper.
