Worst collection of staff i have ever come across in 1 pub!Rude,ill mannered,slow,scruffy and uncaring,what more can i say.Apart from the overpriced bought in(as was informed by staff) mediocre food.So apparantly my dissapointing meals.6 of them.Wasnt the chefs fault.As six smokers 2 boot,we had no heat in the heated smoking area and no seating.How outcast could we be.No apologies nor san fairy ann from the manager!So we paid our �130 bill and left.Never to return.I hope the directors of these chain pubs read these comments.I wish i had spent my money in tgi fridays where you get what you expect.Thanks for ruining my mothers birthday...........

The Church Inn, Hockley

same ole same ole,nowt bowsey wowsey about the reopening,having not visited for a long time and hearing the chat at the bar am under the impression that new owners etc.in my opinion slightly cleaner slightly less cluttered but still as grim,depressing and claustrophobic.Good luck to the new owners? I was made welcome but dont think that was enough to make me come back in a hurry.

what a dump im suprised the enviromental health has not closed it down! how scary and filthy are the toilets,never mind the staff not 1 of them look like theyve been to bed nor had a wash.never ever will i go back to this poor excuse for a pub.best set on fire and start again.
