Absolutely SHOCKING customer services. Booked the ‘Duck Room’ for our Mothers 60th Birthday. Misunderstand on the costs regarding catering, which to be fair was our fault, but no effort or understanding was to be made by the Management on negotiating on the price for the number of guests. We explained we had a budget, which they clearly didn’t have any sympathy for, we asked if we could cater for 70%, which we were told no. Anyone organising an event knows you never cater for the full guest list!!
The thing that annoyed and upset us the most is that it took 3 days of continuous calling by us the customer, to finally get a response and might I just say not from the Landlord, whom refused to deal with the situation. This all being a few days before the actual party! Their response was under no circumstances were they prepared to negotiate and this being on the Wednesday and the party was meant to be on the Saturday has left us with no venue and to be honest up S@#T streak and refusal of returning our deposit either!
