Good news. The pub has been bought privately and is opening as a free house. Beer is back on the menu. Opens tonight 1st March.

The First and Last, Penzance
Spent last evening at this pub and I must say it was pretty good. No food on as yet due to the new owners just about managing to open on time. However the beer (I was drinking Otter Bitter) was great. Three other beers on as well as the usual lagers, cider and Guinness. Very friendly welcome and the place has been re-formed nicely.
Well worth a visit.
