The Hope and Anchor, Ross-on-Wye

We canoed passed this pub and thought it looked like a great place for a pint � how wrong we were. Yes, it has a great location, but the staff were monumentally unfriendly. Six of us had a couple of rounds and all ordered food and then played darts, we were informed by the landlady that the 'darts team' were turning up for a match and would have to stop. The 'team' then consisted of one player � clearly a local who wanted to play and we were turfed off. I would not recommend this pub at all � and the food was mediocre at best.
