The Squirrel, North Camp

I love this pub!!!!! All the staff are friendly and helpful and always make an effort to talk to you. The food can vary depending on how busy they are, but the new burger menu is a definate winner. As with all ember inns they do not allow children in the bar...which may prove to be a problem for myself and husband in 6 months!! although I can always go and sit in the pretty beer garden!
All in all a very pleasant visit.

The Five and Lime, Guildford

On my first visit to this pub we had a lovely lunch, staff were polite and helpful. So when we had a special occassion to celebrate with visiting family, we took them to five and lime. What a disaster! the chip fryer broke o we were offered oven chips..okay....we waited an hour and a half for our food, one meal came out fifteen minutes before all the rest and then when the othr meals arrived everything was cold with all the food apart from the chips burnt (presumably waiting for the chips to cook). We were so hungry we had to eat it (i'm pregnant so not eating was not an option), we were not offered anything...not even a round of drinks whilst we waited. Such a shame as it would've been somewhere we went to alot.
