Absolutely tip top!!! Beautiful pub in a beautiful chocolate box location on the green opposite the stunning St Andrew's Church. Great changing beers that are expertly kept and a wonderful menu thats cooked to perfection. Competetivly priced especially for the Sunday lunches. Thoroughly recomended!

The Duke William, Ickham

Went recently (september 11) and was appalled by the confrontational attitude of the landlord when we were only prepared to pay the advertised price for an item on his desert menu - we were made to feel like conmen and not an apology for the confusion in sight. Having just moved into the next village along, we won't be going back. Such a shame as it used to be our favourite place to go.

The Two Sawyers, Canterbury

Sadly the pub has gone down hill in the last 18 months. The food offering which used to be great really went off the number. A sense of decline seemed to sweep over the place, it was always incredibly dark with noisy piped music, the good ale choice although unchanging was let down by poor cellar keeping. The pub says it's closed for important decorating work but I'm not sure this is re-opening any time soon. It's a shame, if it was brightened up and given more comfortable seating it could work.
