The Ship and Mitre, Liverpool

Well what can I say really about the last comment? For the reader who seemed to have a problem with the fact that I started the forum about the Ship. If they would care to look at the date and see that it was in 2005 that I made my comments.

I am no longer employed at the S & M and havn't been since Dec 2006.

I too have seen the change in the pub's quality & service and in the people who work for the establishment. There is approx 1 true, honest genuine worker there whose sole reason for being there is for the customers, real ale and making the drinkers experience an enjoyable one. Those who have drank in the Ship for many years will know whom I am talking about.

I'm hoping that the Ship is restored to live up to it's previous reputation, however, whether this will happen is another story.
