The Dog and Pheasant, Brook

I wanted to come and find out for myself about this pub after a horrible review, and discovered as I suspected that it was very good. The refurb is lovely, despite it being very busy this saturday lunch time, they found us a table within a minute of entering the pub, they let us bring our dogs in, and were exceptionally welcoming.
We had some delicous sandwiches in front of a lovely roaring, toasty fire and the chicken and chorizo was to die for. My companion said it was the best beef sandwich she has had in a very long time. Congratulations, we will definitely be going back.
