The Weir Hotel, Walton on Thames

After reading the previous reviews I find my personal experiences quite contradictory, however it�s only just that I give the Weir a fair and honest report based on the service I received.

The bar food selection is extensive, served promptly, and tasted great. (I recommend the beef)

Bar staff were polite and refreshingly chatty. (Even offering my dog a meaty bone!)

Decor is dated, but who wants yet another chain pub/bar destroying a truly British pub on the river?

One of the best pints of Speckled Hen to round it all off nicely!

A must for the family, or simply a walk with the dog.
