Anne Of Cleves, Melton Mowbray

Just popped in on the way home on a thursday night for a quiet pint, sat in the little room at the end near the stairs to the toilets. While having a quiet pint got told you cant sit here, its for eating only. How rude can you get? There was no one eating in there and no sign saying you cant sit there and have a drink, they did'nt even ask if we were eating! I have lived in Melton all my life and have never known a pub like it, I have visited this pub on numerous occasions in the past and must admit its the worst pub I have ever been in. Unless you are a local yokel from around the Snobby area's of Melton you wont be welcome here, and I must say it really is a dump. If you ever go upstairs to the toilets you will see what I mean.
So if you are thinking of visiting this pub when visiting Melton don't be fooled its nothing to write home about. There are plenty of better cleaner and friendlier pubs in the town and you will be made to feel welcome.
