The Well House Inn, Mugswell

Our last visit was in 08 and we were really pleased with our meal, huge portions and beautifully cooked. We went there today (17 Jan 2010) with friends and couldn't believe the difference! We ordered the sunday roasts and the roast chicken and chips. The roast lamb and beef were very small portions and came with over cooked vegetables, the meal was tasteless. The roast chicken looked as if it had been boiled it was so white and was very dry. We thought that dessert would be better but it was no better at all. The spotted dick was rock hard and tasteless! The whole meal was all over priced and we will not be going there again which is such a shame given how great the pub used to be.
