The Drovers Arms is a fantastic place steeped in history and nostalgic to the max. The best pub in the British Isles. Olde Worlde and meant to be haunted. An old coaching in so bet its seen a bit of action then and present day. Well worth a visit and go back in time. Brilliant

Lord Crewe Arms Hotel, Blanchland

The hotel is fantastic. Oldy worldy. The food was nice but portions are a bit on the small side for the prices. I got a steak and no steak knife? Aside from that staff very friendly. Wouldnt serve us sunday lunch in the bar area only in restaurant. Had been walking and restaurant wasnt really appropriate for muddy walking boots. Lovely place all the same steeped in history and will return one day
