The County Arms, Highams Park

The County Arms has really bucked up its game in the past couple of years.
Out with the chavs and druggies and in with the cold lively beer! Huzzah!
The barstaff are all wonderful, very polite and great banter.
The food is also good, huge selection and big portions, with low prices and daily deals.
There are 2 snooker tables in an old church style hall on one side and a quiet dining area on the other.
There is always without fail a band on a friday night.
There are 4 TVs showing football, racing, rugby, tennis, cricket... pretty much any sport you might want to watch. You can just ask the barstaff to change the channel for you.
Theres also a top knotch duke box.
The regulars are all friendly, the sort of men that have been coming to the pub for years.

Overall a fantastic pub.

The Walnut Tree, Leytonstone

Theres so much I love about this pub. They have a huge variety of spirits, lager, ale, and cider. The barstaff have great banter. Its cheap. Theres always a table. The list goes on.
However, like every wetherspoons, it lacks atmosphere and that sort of homey feeling you get at a great local. And it also takes forever for staff to clear glasses away so every time I go in there I end up doing it myself. But overall a great pub.
