The Three Horseshoes, Thursley

I organised a walk for my friends and set this pub as the lunch stop. I had never been there before and was frankly, a bit concerned once I had read the reviews on beerintheevening and seeing the posh menu for lunch when I knew all we'd want was a pint and a sandwich.
However, I rang them up and they were very helpful and not at all fazed by someone wanting to reserve a table for 15-20 people, an equally vague estimated time of arrival, and a hint that we didn't want to spend much money on a busy saturday lunch time! We all tramped in with muddy boots (sorry), and enjoyed very nice food (the salt beef and gherkin sandwiches are delicious! And the sausages and mash were also very well received) that was well priced and served promptly.
An excellent time was had by all, thank you very much!!
