Goat and Tricycle, Bournemouth
Called past here for a couple of pints and a meal on Friday night while on a weekend out of the big smoke - saw it on the way past and thought it might be worth a visit and then had it recommended by the proprietor of our hotel.
Lovely pub. Think there were 10 ales on tap and a cider or two - tried three of them and all three went down a treat. The fish and chips definitely filled a corner while the burger my partner in crime ordered looked pretty good too. Helpful and friendly staff too.
If you're in Bournemouth and enjoy a pint then this place is worth a visit

Perfectly serviceable Friday night pub with very friendly service (unlike a new venue visited last week for the first time)
Only minor complaint was that for a Fullers pub there wasn't a huge selection - Pride and ESB from memory and suspect there was Honeydew as well. Still, the Pride was far from the worst one I'll ever have.
Oh, and why do pubs have television going when there's nothing really to watch on? There's only so much Sky Sports News one person can watch without turning slightly zombie-like.

Have to admit I was a bit disappointed by this pub - at the time I visited there was Doom, Landlord and Greene King IPA on tap. All of which are ok but I thought there may have been a local brew that may have been available. Bit over Doom as had a few rough ones in the past (possibly a case of quantity over quality) and just not a fan of the other two but I digress.
Sunday roast was pretty ordinary and even allowing for the place being fairly flat out, food took ages (almost forty minutes) to arrive. The table next to me were less than impressed by their meal while the table next to them had their order stuffed up.
Will give it the benefit of the doubt being Easter Sunday and the previous reviews but still......
