The Bottle and Glass Inn, Picklescott

Just had a fantastic weekend in Shropshire, staying at the Bottle and Glass Inn. Great food, great atmosphere, a lovely room. All the staff made us feel extremely welcome and we can't wait for a chance to go back there. Highly recommended.

The Bull's Head, Craswall

Enjoyed lunch at this pub a few years ago and looked forward to returning today. What a let-down! Wanted coffee while waiting to meet friends for lunch and was told coffee can only be served after a meal! What happened to the "huffers" the pub was well-known for? The only choice for lunch seemed to be a ploughman's at �11.50 or soup. We were told on the phone that the pub was open from 12 til 3, but they failed to point out that they stopped taking food orders at 2. We ended up with an excellent lunch in Hay-on-Wye and won't be returning to The Bulls Head again.
